This was a very special wedding for me. I had so much fun at this Tuscan wedding in Lucca with Paolo & Carlotta. I have known Paolo since high school but we had not been in touch for 15 years. Then, after one message, we started from where we left off, talking together for hours and I was so excited to capture their story with my own eyes.

It was a foggy day around the apartments where Paolo & Carlotta were getting ready. Both were preparing in different houses so that they would not see each other before the ceremony. As soon as we left for the church, the sky cleared up and we were blessed with beautiful weather for the rest of the day. The location was an old “limonaia” of a 15th century villa in the hills around Lucca, in Tuscany and the decoration was top notch, chosen by Paolo & Carlotta themselves.

This was my first chance to be a wedding photographer in Lucca at Villa Oliva and it could not have been better. Please enjoy my depiction of Paolo & Carlotta’s story.
